Waking up on summer’s day
Easy-breezy midday sway
Listening to children as they play
Hot chocolate on a winter’s night
Gazing at the fire, oh, what a sight!
Heating up to my heart’s delight
Watching the autumn leaves as they fall
Playing in the rain, having a ball
Listening to the ancients call
Springing into spring makes my heart sing
Letting go of past sufferings
Looking beyond to what the future may bring
These are but a few of my favourite things
“My Favourite Things” is this week’s title for our tandem blog. Please have a read at my collaborators’ interpretations. We have Celeste at Surviving Jonkersville and Chevone at Chev’s Life.
Thank you for reading!

This post really had me feeling like I was taking a walk on the beach, without kids! Thank you 🙂

We have so much in common! Easy breeze midday sway reminds me of an incident I have in Heerengracht Str one midday when the wind decided to sway my skirt over my head! Not my finest moment. Lol 😀

It’s been such a long time since I’ve been in battle with The Cape Doctor on Foreshore. You’re taking me back! We do have much in common still, it seems. Even after all these years 🙂

You and Chev should just do a beach day! Lol your main favourite thing. I like how you have one for each season 😎
